The focus for Louies Modern is to showcase design and culinary ingenuity, as well as freshness, simplicity and quality. From farm-fresh produce to handmade pastas, top-quality steaks and seafood, and an indoor/outdoor Barista bar, diners will find an interactive experience centered on a varied menu that includes handcrafted cocktails and award-winning wines.
A sophisticated and contemporary spin on classical dining is showcased on the menu of through a variety of options, ranging from snacks and small plates, to soups and salads, wood burning oven pizzetas and larger plates. Items such as Beetroot & Camembert Arancine, Sunchoke Fritti and Spoonbread Johnnycakes, Country Terrine, Buratta and Sweet Onion-Scottish Salmon Hushpuppies seamlessly merge past with present. The Plates division focuses on heartier items including Short Rib Bourguignon, Bistro Steak Frites and Curry Roasted Cauliflower with Red Quinoa Pilaf. Gluten Free & Simply Grilled items are well represented along with “Yum” Desserts for an indulgent finish.
In keeping with the approachable dining experience, menu prices range from $4-$24. Craft beers range from $4-$8, handcrafted cocktails $10 each and a forward-thinking wine list with glasses $7-$12 and full bottles from $21-$66.
